The Boys at the Hammer feature weekly coverage of all things MMA. They have one of the premier radio shows in the world of MMA broadcasted weekly on Wednesday nights on 93.3 FM, CFMU.
The Hammer MMA Radio is expanding! As UFC, Bellator and World Series Of Fighting continue to promote more international events than ever before, it’s been difficult to have airtime on The Hammer Canada MMA Radio to cover the growing Canadian MMA scene.
Now every week Rob Veevers will cover the latest in Canadian MMA, including live events and interviews with Canadian talent. The show will air live every Wednesday evening on 93.3 CFMU in Hamilton, and will be put on Last Word on Sports shortly thereafter.
It’s a packed show this week as Rob recaps a couple of huge Canadian MMA events from last weekend.
First it’s a rundown of May 30th’s Elite 1 event in St. John’s, a night which featured big wins for Adam Hunter, Matt DesRoches and more.
Then David Abraham joins in to recap the events of last Saturday night’s Global Warriors 2 event in Burlington, Ontario including post-fight interviews with Global Warriors 2 winners Alex Ricci, Adam Assenza and Dave Hale.
Finally Adrian Woolley, a fighter who should have been on the GW2 card, explains how his highly anticipated matchup with Brazilian import Cleber Junior fell through.
Hosted by Rob Veevers.
Listen live Wednesday nights at 6:00pm on CFMU 93.3 FM, and online at http://www.thehammermma.com, Last Word On Sports, The Itunes Store, and @BanzukeAthletic on Twitter.
