Unofficial UFC Fight Camp Rankings – AKA Claims 2nd Championship

UFC 187 was not only one of the most entertaining fight cards of the year, but it also saw 12 ranked fighters compete, meaning the Official UFC Rankings were impacted greatly by the event.

Two fights, Travis Browne vs. Andrei Arlovski and Anthony Johnson vs. Daniel Cormier, saw the lower ranked fighter finish their higher ranked counterpart, resulting in a big boost in points for AKA and Jackson’s.

The points are given based on the Official UFC Rankings. A camp with a UFC Champion is given 20 points, #1 Contender = 15 points, #2 = 10 points, #3 = 9 points, #4 = 8 points, #5 = 7 points, #6 = 6 points, #7 = 5 points, #8 = 4 points, #9 = 3 points, #10 = 2 points and #11-15 = 1 point. A tie between teams is broken by which fight camp has the highest ranked fighter.

UFC Fight Camp Ranking May 25th

The American Kickboxing Academy, who is now the only fight camp with two UFC Championships (not counting interim), claims the 2nd spot due to having the high ranked fighter over Team Jackson-Winkeljohn.

Jackson’s got a boost in points as Arlovski shot up the UFC Rankings from #8 to #4.

Here are the full rankings for each fight camp:
