Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal confirms club already has a replacement for David de Gea should the shot-stopper leave the club in the summer. The 24-year-old Spaniard has a year on his current contract and has not signed the extension offered by the club.

As for van Gaal, he does not know if De Gea will stay at the club, but should he leave there is a replacement already in mind. Louis van Gaal: “We have a list of goalkeepers who can replace him because we have to be organised always”
De Gea is rumoured to be leaving the club to join Spanish giants Real Madrid. Reports from Spain claims he has agreed personal terms with Real Madrid and all that is left is an agreement between the two clubs. De Gea is believed to be valued at a cost of £30million.
The goalkeeper has just a year left on his contract and van Gaal confirmed the young Spanish goalkeeper had been offered lucrative amounts of money to stay at the club beyond next summer. The manager did not hesitate to add that the club wanted De Gea to stay but also went on to say that the decision was solely the player’s. van Gaal said: “It’s dependable not of Manchester United, not of me, because we want him to sign. He has to sign, he has to want to stay here at Manchester United. I don’t know [why he hasn’t decided].”
Manchester United have already begun their summer business with the signing of Dutchman Memphis Depay and with club being rumoured to be linked with Gareth Bale and Harry Kane who would rule out the signing of a big name goalkeeper?
