Welcome to the Last Word On Sports 2015 Weekly Two Start Pitchers to Stream Report. This will be a series updated every week to give you pitchers that have two-start weeks and can help your fantasy lineup. These pitchers have good match-ups and are likely to be available on your league’s waiver wire. We here at LWOS want to provide you with the best up to date information available, and streaming pitchers weekly will improve your chances of winning a Fantasy Baseball Championship. Below are the Week 4 Two Start Pitchers To Stream.
LWOS TWO START PITCHERS TO STREAM WEEK OF APRIL 26
Jimmy Nelson, SP, Milwaukee Brewers, Yahoo! Availability 61%
Probable Starts: 4/27 @ Cincinnati; 5/3 vs Chicago Cubs
Jimmy Nelson has been phenomenal so far in 2015 and should be added in every fantasy league. Nelson, recording 17 SO and a 1.35 ERA thus far, could be in for another very good week. Nelson will face a Cincinnati Reds team that only scored one run against him over 8 innings of work on April 22. Next he will go up against the Cubs, who as a team have struck out the 2nd most times this season. Pickup and start Jimmy Nelson with confidence this week.
Yovani Gallardo, SP, Texas Rangers, Yahoo! Availability 68%
Probable Starts: 4/27 vs Seattle; 5/3 vs Oakland
Yovani Gallardo has pitched well to open the season, going 2-2 with a 3.92 ERA and 21 SO. Gallardo has good matchups this week, facing two inconsistent offenses in the Mariners and Athletics. In fact, Gallardo has already faced the Mariners this year, and threw 6 shutout innings to earn his 2nd victory of the season. I also expect Gallardo to rebound from the mediocre start he had vs the Athltics earlier this year. Add Yovani Gallardo if he is available in your league.
J.A. Happ, SP, Seattle Mariners, Yahoo! Availability 96%
Probable Starts: 4/28 @ Texas; 5/3 @ Houston
Who would have thought that J.A Happ would have a 2.61 ERA through three starts? Not me. Happ has been dominant so far this season, allowing 2 runs or less in every start so far. In fact, Happ has already faced both the Rangers and Astros this season and both games were a success. Happ went 7 innings and allowed only 2 runs vs the Rangers and pitched 7.1 strong vs Houston, giving up 2 runs while striking out 5. Happ should be able to duplicate this success, so I see no reason to leave him on the waiver wire. Pick up J.A Happ and start him both games this week.
