WR Greg Jennings will sign with the #Dolphins, a source said. Great fit. They needed a veteran receiver.

Having been a somewhat surprise cut from the Minnesota Vikings following their trade with his new team, the Miami Dolphins for fellow receiver Mike Wallace, Jennings found himself looking for his third team in his up and down career.
Drafted by the Green Bay Packers in the 2nd round of the 2006 draft, Jennings established himself as one of Brett Favre’s, favourite targets, catching 12 of Favre’s 28 touchdowns in 2007. Under Aaron Rodgers, Jennings became a perennial red zone threat having 38 touchdowns and almost 5,000 yard receiving in his 5 years with Rodgers.
While his time with Minnesota was less than stellar, recording 10 TD’s and 1,500 yards, this is partially due to the quarterback carousel that occurred during his time in purple. Jennings played under 4 different quarterbacks during his two season in Minnesota and when stability returned to the position in the latter half of 2014 his numbers recovered, catching 5 of his 6 touchdowns when Teddy Bridgewater was the certified starter.
While Jennings has never posted number 1 receiver numbers, only having 3 seasons over 1,000 yards, his ability as a slot receiver and as a team leader are undeniable. At 31 years old, Jennings is entering the twilight of his noteworthy careers, which saw him named to the NFL rookie of the year team, the Pro Bowl twice and help the Green Bay Packers lift the Super Bowl in 2010.
