Nelson Piquet Jr. lead Saturday’s Long Beach ePrix from start to finish. With the win, Piquet became the sixth different winner in as many races in the all electric series. The Brazilian waited to use his fan boost until late in the race, much later than the other boost-equipped drivers.

Wearing his dad’s helmet, Piquet Jr. got his first win in Formula E at the same track that his dad got his first Formula 1 win at 35 years ago.
The safety car was brought out twice in Long Beach, the first time on the fourth lap when Scott Speed grabbed air on the chicane and was pulled into the wall.
The second incident was seen after Charles Pic dive bombed Jarno Trulli at the hairpin and sent Trulli packing. Pic was given a drive through penalty.
Although, at the end of the day, Picquet Jr. came up big on the track, and it showed off the track – on the points standings.

The series will visit Monte Carlo next month for Round 7 of the Inaugural 11 Round Schedule, trying for its seventh winner in the same amount of races.
