According to reports, Offensive Guard Mike Iupati has told people he plans to sign with the Arizona Cardinals the deal is undisclosed at the moment due to the NFL discouraging teams from finalising contracts ahead of the new league year on Tuesday.

The 6th year Guard is known for being a strong run blocker and has helped the San Francisco 49ers finish now lower than 8th in the league during his tenure. Listed by many as the best Offensive lineman in this years Free agent pool Espn’s Bill Polian said the following when rating Iupati.
“He ranks among the best run-blockers in the league. He possesses outstanding strength, leg drive, punch and aggressiveness. He is less effective in space when pass-blocking.”
Drafted 17th in 2010, Iupati 27, stands at 6ft5in and weighs in at a competitive 331lbs, he has been voted to the Pro-Bowl 3 times along with being first team All-Pro in 2012 and a member of the Rookie team in 2010.
While he is well respected as a run blocker his pass blocking ability has left much to be desired in recent times, Pro Football Focus accredits him with 7 sacks allowed and 22 QB hurries during the 2014 season. He also fractured his ankle in the 2013 Championship game along with missing several games that year with a sprained knee. He missed one game in 2014 with concussion.
