FANTASY CBB 3-7-15

Saturdays always offer many value plays, top priced options, middle of the pack guys and everything in between. You will look at totals and right away think you need every players from Arkansas and LSU. I am here to tell you that this game will not win you your money. This is not because players won’t produce, but because everyone is reading the same paper as you. Winning tomorrow will be about the players you pick around this game, as there will be many similarities with everyone in this game. For what it’s worth Portis and Madden are my top plays at their price in this game. The below will be all players I like outside of this game. Today offers what is likely to be the most games to pick players from until the bracket begins, so at the very least make sure you enjoy the action.

FANTASY CBB 3-7-15

Top High-Priced Plays

Kris Dunn -Guard Providence. Price 10100

Is much explanation here necessary? The last time Dunn has scored less than 40 fantasy points at home we were in the year 2014. Butler is a defensive threat and doesn’t speed up the pace, but Dunn is the engine for Providence and they will need him at his best to top Butler. I see Dunn being very aggressive and as always filling it up with assists, rebound and steals en route to another stellar game at home. With so many guard options people will look away here, but you should not be.

Troy Williams -Forward Indiana. Price 8500

Indiana is projected one of the highest totals of the afternoon, and if Dawson doesn’t play, I believe Williams has a huge game. He has been playing very well recently and this game will have a quick pace. With no defense threat if Dawson is out on the inside, expect Williams to have at it. Points will be scored by Indiana, so you’ll want someone from this game and I believe that person should be Williams.

Top Mid-Priced Guys

Trevor Lacey -Guard North Carolina State. Price 7100

People consider Lacey as a GPP play at best on most nights. I tend to think on the other end there. At home Lacey is very consistent. Outside of a dud at home vs Virginia Lacey has been very safe. This price is great, as he only needs 28 fantasy points, and the Syracuse zone sets up well for a good jump shooter like Lacey.

Isaac Copeland -Forward Georgetown. Price 6300

Copeland was cruising at home until this two game road stretch. Well Copeland will be back home, and will a tremendous match-up. Copeland gets big minutes and his price is great for someone who provides block/steal upside along with his points ans rebounds. The forward position is not exactly stacked with value options, but Copeland certainly is one of the few.

Top Low Priced-Guys

Jevon Carter -Guard West Virginia. Price 5200

Carter did not exactly wow in his last game, after having a monster game before that one. While this is somewhat reliant on Staten news, I’m confident he will not be playing. He was seen still limping as of Thursday and sat out practice on Friday again. If he does sit, Carter can have a big game in a nice paced match-up against Oklahoma State.

Jamari Traylor -Forward Kansas. Price 5000

No Alexander and no Ellis. Someone has to take the reigns on this front court. The match-up is not ideal, but Traylor has proven that when he gets the minutes, he will produce. I cannot see Bill Self trusting anyone else more than Traylor to lead his front court tomorrow. With heavy minutes expected, and a decent usage when on the court, Traylor could easily pay off this small price tag.
