Frank Heckenast Jr. had a rough start to his 2015 World of Outlaws season, but rebounded nicely on Saturday at Bubba Raceway Park, becoming the 2015 WoO season’s fourth different winner.
2015 WoO Bubba Raceway #2: Heckenast Jr. takes the Win
The 50-lap main event was as close as one could hope as Shane Clanton crossed the line in second place, finishing just 0.766 seconds behind Heckenast.
Clanton was followed by Josh Richards, who one might call “Mr. Consistency,” because of the fact that he has three top four finishes so far this season.
Darrell Lanigan and Polesitter Boom Briggs rounded out the top five finishers. Briggs was consistent all night long but had a hiccup in the feature.
As we are just four races into the season, the points standings hold close as Josh Richards is the only driver to break the barrier from winless to the big boys club.

The DIRTcar Nationals will now host the World of Outlaws Late Models to close out February at Volusia Speedway Park staring on Thursday, February 19th.
