WoO LMS: Defending Champ Darrell Lanigan gets First win of 2015

Darrell Lanigan took somewhat of a hit after the opening weekend in the WoO LMS points standings, but has found himself back at the top after a win at Bubba Raceway Park. The oldest track in the state located in Ocala, Florida played host to the World of Outlaws Late Model Series’ 2015 Winter Nationals. The two day event features two $10,000-to-win nights of racing.

The A-Main saw 30 laps of green flag racing with Josh Richards taking the lead with ten to go. Richards caught up with some lapped traffic with just four laps to go, giving up the win to the Kentucky native. Richards crossed the line behind by 1.17 seconds.

Polesitter Boom Briggs took home a sixth place finish and finds himself back in the top ten of the LMS Points standings.

Steve Casebolt only ran 13 laps of the event and later said this to his 5,000 twitter followers.
