Fantasy NCAAB Top Plays 2-8-15

There are obvious plays on today's board, but I want to provide you with value plays that are sitting out there.

Yesterday was a great day for the Dunkl3 Express #choochoo. Okay, I promise I’ll never say that again, but I would like to walk you through my early lineup yesterday as things seemed to click very well.

https://www.fanduel.com/contest/10354066/scoring/lineup/132333778/

I used the above lineup in almost all my lineups. I ran a few tourney lineups as well, but the above was the primary lineup used throughout. Six of the nine guys I played were mentioned in the article yesterday, so need no mentioning as to why I played them. Players not mentioned were Tra Holder Myles Davis and LJ Peak. Tra Holder was a good value play at the price as he has been playing very well since earning the starting job. If you watch Xavier play, you will know that Myles Davis is worth every penny as long as his price sits below 6500. I also went with LJ Peak. His match-up was by no means good, but he was minimum price. He exceeded value which was great, but people may have looked at my lineup and went why him. The answer of why I went LJ Peak is the same as Tra Holder and Myles Davis. Value. These three had not the best match-ups, but their price was right. I did not post these guys because they were not plays I loved and certainly could have thrown a dud. When building your lineups, I would like you to not just look at totals of games and match-ups. Do not forget that value is out there daily and should not be overlooked. People love to look at a high total and feel they need players from it and go against great value on the board. There are obvious plays on today’s board, but I want to provide you with the value plays that are sitting out there, so they are not missed.

FANTASY NCAAB TOP PLAYS 2-8-15

Value Plays

Kadeem Jack -Forward Rutgers. Price 6700

Jack’s price is excellent today, and he is arguably the best value out there. Jack has a very usage rate in Rutger’s offense and since they will most likely be playing from behind, he should get all the minutes he could handle. With a very high floor and decent ceiling this price is too good to pass up.

JaeSean Tate -Forward Ohio State. Price 5400

Tate’s home road splits prove he is far better at home, however this price is just too goo to pass up. Tate has a floor of 15 fantasy points and a ceiling above 30. With limited solid options at forward today, this is why you need to roster him today. With no Marc Loving, extra minutes and shots will be there today for Tate.

Devon Reed -Guard Miami. Price 5200

The last 5-6 games Reed has been playing great. Arguably even better than Rodriguez and McClellan. He is not just scoring either, as he is been rebounding and assisting at a decent clip. Fanduel still has this guy under 6K and do not miss the value here. Last six games have been 28,20,13,13,16,20 fantasy points. The minutes are there and the price is right.

Jordan Roper -Guard Clemson. Price 5200.

Roper was moved into the starting lineup four games ago, and hasn’t scored less than 21 fantasy points since. While being primarily a scorer, the heavy court minutes has resulted in a few rebounds and assists a game as well. Miami is a decent match-up for him, but this is simply a price play.

Shaun Kemp Jr. -Forward Washington. Price 4700

Three straight games scoring double digits cannot be overlooked at 4700. The game against Oregon State may be slow paced, but he still could get quite a few easy baskets. If he grabs his share of boards, he will get right at the number for value.

Nick Zeisloft -Guard Indiana. Price 4600

Zeisloft is purely a scorer, but he has been playing well his last two games. Indiana plays a fast pace, and Michigan’s guard are fill-ins for inured players. He will have his open looks, but there is the possibility he is simply off and will get his minutes limited.

Amir Williams -Forward Ohio State. Price 4600

Marc Loving is out with off the court issues, so that means someone has to scoop up his minutes. Last game Williams played 20 minutes and was fairly productive scoring 14 fantasy points. Expect him to see similar court time and produce value against an undersized Rutgers team.

There are of coarse big plays as in Russell, Payton, Brown, Williams-Goss, but cashing today will relay on the other plays you select. Don’t miss out on the value!
