Fantasy NCAAB Top Plays 2-7-15 Early

I love the game of craps. If you love gambling and having a good time at a casino, there are few better things you can do to pass the time. What makes this game great is even when a table is at full capacity (16 people), everyone could be rooting for different numbers on the dice to come out. One person may be betting the pass line, another placing the six, another buying the four, etc. While everyone may play craps differently the goal is the same throughout. We all want to win money. There are so many different ways to play the game of craps. When approaching a craps table for the first time, in can be a bit overwhelming. You see so many different options to bet and money flying everywhere. There are literally hundreds of options to bet. For this afternoon’s slate, I do not want you to be overwhelmed by all the options, as there are many. I do not want your money all over the craps table today, I want it stacked in certain sections of it. There are a few games to target and many to leave alone. Even though there are fifteen games to choose players from, I want you to block out most of these. I will give you the teams that offer players with great value and huge upside to build your team around. The five teams we will target are Duke, Iowa State, Georgia, Kansas State, and Pittsburgh.

Fantasy NCAAB Top Plays 2-7-15 Early

Jahlil Okafor -Duke Forward. Price 9300.

For the early slate Okafor is the best play for multiple reasons. He torched Notre Dame on the road a little over a week ago. This most likely has some to do with Notre Dame not liking to double in the post. If they decide to play this way again, they are in for another long day from Okafor. He is just to skilled for Auguste/Grant to handle and even if they do double him, Okafor will still get his.

Justice Winslow -Duke Forward. Price 6900.

I expect Winslow to be the highest owned player of the day. Deciding the fade the public here would be a bad idea. He is playing his best ball of the season his last two games, and has a tremendous match-up. Sulaimon getting dismissed really opened an opportunity for Winslow and he has been taking it. His price is still low enough, for how good his usage has been.

Tyus Jones -Duke Guard. Price 6700

Nothing too flashy about Tyus, but you look at the box score after every game and his numbers are about the same. He is the assist leader for a team that will be projected about 80 points. His price has dropped to 6700 which is great for a high tempo game like this. Needing about 26 fantasy points to hit value, I really like the odds here as the shot will be there.

Monte Morris -Iowa State Guard. Price 8000

At the guard position today, Morris is the top play based on price. He has a dream match-up with an awful Texas Tech team that cannot stop anyone. He will do whatever he wants against the Red Raiders, and do not worry about the blowout factor. If Iowa State wants to move into the top 10. They have to show they can step on team like this, and run away with it. Regardless of the score Morris sees a minimum of 32 minutes and produces across the board.

Georges Niang -Iowa State Forward. Price 7900

If you decide you fade Morris, you need to have Niang in your lineup. You will need a piece of this Iowa State team in your lineup today, as they will be scoring at will. Niang’s numbers at home are far better than on the road, and he has been playing real well over his last three games. Expect easy put-backs and easy assists to other teammates from Niang in this one.

Jameel McKay -Iowa State Forward. Price 5800

If for some reason you forgot to take your meds this morning, and don’t play Morris or Niang, then McKay would be a wise choice. He is instant offense for Iowa State off the bench and provides a huge spark on the defense end as well. Lots of misses from Tech will result in easy rebounds and blocks for McKay around the rim. For this price, he is a great play.

J.J. Frazier -Georgia Guard. Price 6500

I am actually happy Frazier under performed in his last game. This will draw people away from him on today’s slate. Price for Price, Frazier is one of the best plays of the day. Tennessee struggles with talented guards like Frazier and could be in for a long day. If Thornton doesn’t wind up playing, Frazier is a huge play, but he is still a good play even if Thornton does suit up.

Yante Maten -Georgia Guard. Price 4800

This is strictly a play if Thornton sits. If Thornton plays, there is nothing to see here. If Thornton ends up sitting, Maten is a must start at this tag. A talented big man against an undersized Volunteer club, could mean big things at this price tag.

Javon Thomas/Justin Edwards -Kansas State Guard. Price 4600-4700

With Marcus Foster and Malek Harris out for tomorrow’s games that leaves someone to take over the guard duties full time. Thomas and Edwards are more than capable of playing a decent game and hitting value at home against Texas. Most likely one of the two will start and the other play the 6th man role, but do not worry as both should see similiar court time regardless. Playing one or both of these guys will open up some room to play the big guys mentioned earlier.

Jamel Artis -Pittsburgh Forward. Price 7400

What is there to really say here. Are there many safer options than Artis for 30 fantasy points? He is on some roll and it has been against teams far better than Syracuse. Expect his per usual, high usage and great play.

Josh Newkirk -Pittsburgh Guard. Price 4500

A minimum priced starting guard. These do not grow on trees. Since being moved to the starting lineup Newkirk has been involved more in this offense and seeing more playing time. Also, doesn’t hurt the Pittsburgh won two in a row. Could be a better match-up but for minimum price you could certainly do worse. Playing him also allows you to bump up other positions.

You will see Kaminsky, Dawson, Christmas, and Dunn throughout, I just feel their prices are too high based on their match-up. You can certainly roll these guys out in tournaments as any of them could go off, I just like the other options on the slate. There are also pending injuries that will come out close to the bell tomorrow morning and if you have any questions on anything feel free to message me on twitter.
