The conference mended some of its broken image with Ohio State doing most of the heavy lifting and Michigan State and Wisconsin helping out. 14 Big Ten winning teams were 127-60 overall and 70-47 in conference vs Power 5 teams that went 110-74 and 54-40 in conference. The average Big Ten seed is 6.1. The average Power 5 seed is 5.7.
13 Big Ten losing teams were 92-71 overall and 57-49 in conference vs Power 5 teams that went 99-71 and 47-50 in conference. The average Big Ten seed is 7. The average Power 5 seed is 7.3.
