Fantasy Profile: Wilin Rosario C, Colorado Rockies

The Rockies fell in love with Rosario, as many fantasy owners did, after he hit 28 bombs in 2012.  He followed that with a respectable 21 dingers in 2013 and then fell off the map with just 13 in 2014.  He has seen all things work against him the past three years.  Decreased Flyball Rate, decreased Hr/FB%, to go along with an injury filled season that limited him to 106 games.  If those rates come back he is easily a 20 plus HR candidate. The silver lining to last season was a decrease in K rate from over 23% to just over 17%.  At age 26 he is just entering his prime, so he is a nice post hype candidate to grab in the later rounds.  I think that Rosario can provide nice power with a helping BA at the Catcher position.
