This week in college basketball didn’t see many upsets, however the few we did see did not dissappoint. Friday, it was the Miami Hurricanes that went down to Eastern Kentucky, losing 72-44 on their home court. The loss took the Hurricanes down to #24 in our poll. Saturday followed up with a much bigger surprise, as Texas Southern traveled to Michigan State, and handled the Spartans in overtime, dropping them into a four-way tie for #25 in our poll.
The Kentucky Wildcats swept our first place voting once again and seem to be the clear cut consensu #1 team so far this season. In second place, the Duke Blue Devils took four out of five second place votes, with the Arizona Wildcats also getting a second place vote, and ultimately finished in third place.
