I sometimes sit back and wonder how teams are bad for so long. I mean really bad like the Raiders, Jags, Bucs, and Browns. I feel bad for the fans of those teams that get to experience the thrill of victory so few times a year, year in and year out. I love the dedicated fans of the lovable losers or even the hated losers. I always want to pull for the underdog but then sometimes they just have to lose for the fans to get it.
I say that right now because of the Brown’s fans and the ridiculous call for Johnny Manziel to become the starting quarterback. Browns fans you got to be kidding me. Brian Hoyer lead this loser of a franchise to more wins already than this team has had in the last six years. That’s right with four games left in the season Hoyer has led the Browns to two more wins this year than any of the previous six years. But yet somehow some have the audacity to call for his job. Also remember he did this for most of the year with a receiving core that wouldn’t start for Oregon University.
The Browns are half a game out of first place but yet somehow that is not good enough for some that must have forgotten what last felt like. It literally might be the classless comments I have heard in sports for a long time. No, I will take that back because the ones calling for teams to sign Ray Rice have it beat on the wicked list.
Fabber’s Believe It or Not, Be Grateful and Week 14
Try this out for a change, be grateful! Think about how bad you had it and think about how good it feels to be a half game out and in the wild card race. Hoyer has won over 65% of the games he started for the Browns. The closest to that mark since the team returned to Cleveland in 1999 and Jake Delhomme who went 2-2 for a 50% ratio.
I think back to when the team moved and how could a team leave Cleveland but it’s starting to make sense. Stop acting like it’s not good enough unless you win a Super Bowl, you aren’t the Patriots!
So enjoy being in the race for once and having meaningful football games in December. Also, you have a team that is on the right track and competing at a higher level week in and week out.
Maybe it’s because I am bitter being a Panther fan and all or maybe I just want to see fans be better and not just expect better. Whatever the reason Browns fans should be enjoying this moment because there is no guaranteed it will last long. The fairytale will end at some point that is promised but how you handle the ride is up to you. I wish more would choose to be grateful but, I guess that’s not the Browns way.
Ok I will step off my soap box now and move on to Week 14 but before I do that Week 13 we got 66% correct.

QBs
Tony Romo DAL, 26 Points: Dallas is looking for a bounce back game and they might just have that. The Bears give up the 2nd most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks in fantasy and Stafford went HAM on this group a week ago.
Matthew Stafford DET, 24 Points: Speak of the man himself this week will be his encore. The Bucs are in the middle of the pack for passing defense but with some extra time to prep and get fully healthy for this game. Look out is all I will say.
Ryan Tannehill MIA, 22 Points: Sure he laid a dud last week that hurt my percentage and many fantasy teams all over but this is too good to pass up. The Ravens give up the forth most points to opposing quarterbacks and seem to be getting worse. Tannehill has the stage to make us fall in love with him again.
RBs
Mark Ingram NO, 17 Points: Do you remember the last time these teams met? Do I have to say more?!?!?!?
Justin Forsett BAL, 14 Points: The Dolphins are middle of the pack when it comes to fantasy run defense but the Jets definitely showed the Dolphins can be run on. I expect a lot more of that this week and some Steve Smith (Sleeper Alert).
Frank Gore SF, 11 Points: Talk about a real bounce back, we have been waiting all year for Gore. We will have a flash in the pan this week on him so enjoy.
WRs
DeAndre Hopkins HOU, 14 Points: I am sure some are kicking themselves for not playing him last week so do not make the same mistake twice. Well playing the Jags gives me even more confidence.
Kenny Stills NO, 14 Points: He is starting to make me look right when I said he would have the best year of any receiver for the Saints. Since Cooks went to IR Stills has been a solid option. That will continue this week at home versus the beat Panthers.
Anquan Boldin SF, 11 Points: Let’s go by process of elimination for this pick here. Crabtree will have the focus of the defense. Davis forgot how to play football this year. That leaves Boldin in place to have a big game.
TEs
Jason Witten DAL, 12 Points: The Bears give up over 11 points per game to opposing fantasy tight ends. If you are wondering where that ranks them it’s the worse in the entire league.
Jared Cook STL, 10 Points: Washington gives up 10 points to opposing tight ends per game and Cook is a big target. This could be his week to become relevant again.

Dan Bailey DAL 14 Points
Phil Dawson SF 12 Points

NOTS
QBs
Mark Sanchez PHI, 17 Points: He has been pretty good in his starting spot but it’s not him it’s the way they use him. Unfortunately they cannot play the Cowboys defense every week. Remember what Seattle did to Peyton Manning, enough said.
Phillip Rivers SD, 16 Points: I hate to play the Patriots after they lose. They come back looking for someone to kill. Well Rivers is that guy this week.
RBs
Trent Richardson/ Dan Herron IND, 10 Points combined: Do I really have to explain about the lack of talent for the first one and lack of opportunity for the second one. Either way do not trust either enough to play.
Lamar Miller MIA, 8 Points: Two reasons a player I love is on this list, a weak snap count and a tough run defense.
WRs
Mike Evans TB, 8 Points: The ride is over and the Lions are going to close it down.
Keenen Allen SD, 6 Points: Right when you think he has finally showed up he will crush your dreams. This week is not his week.
TEs
Greg Olsen CAR, 6 Points: The Saints are the second best in the whole NFL covering tight ends. So if you thought it was bad already for Olsen owners its only getting worse.
Owen Daniels MIA, 5 Points: He isn’t as good as advertised but Miami defense is as good as the best in the NFL on shutting down tight ends.
Kickers
Dan Carpenter BUF 6 Points
Billy Cundiff CLE 5 Points
DEF
Bills 4 Points
Falcons 3 Points
