Friday will be a new day in the eyes of WWE fans; Kofi Kingston, Big E, and Xavier Woods will be debuting a new stable.
Promo commercials have been in effect over the past couple weeks showing one of the three superstars preaching in front of a choir about how we are moving into a “New Day.” The most recent one stated, “Coming Next Monday,” which aired last Monday (Nov. 10) on Raw.
LWOS has received information from a source that was at the SmackDown taping on Tuesday, that the stable will debut on Friday.
However, it is still unclear what gimmick the three will have. It’s unclear if they will be heel or face, it’s unclear if they will be as successful as The Shield or as bad as 3MB. Our Source said the WWE might be trying to bring an attitude era personality to the three.
Some have speculated that the three will be a modern day version of the Nation of Domination, however that has not been confirmed.
Now, originally it was supposed to be Kofi and Big E as they have been tag teaming on house shows and dark matches recently. However, they could have added Xavier Woods because of Kofi living in two tag team scenarios that ultimately got him one of the tag titles twice. If you’re a Kofi fan, it’s good to see him working with two people rather than one.
Other items on the SmackDown Schedule
The Big Show is scheduled to speak on MIZ TV. Sunday at Survivor Series, he knocked out John Cena, swinging the momentum into team authority, but when addressing the WWE Universe on Monday Night Raw, he claimed that he thought they were going to lose and jumped ship.
It’s sure to be an exciting SmackDown, and as always it starts at 8pm ET on SyFy. “You can also watch on the WWE Network for only $9.99 a month!”
