Well if you forgot just how good Josh Gordon was last year he wasted no time reminding us. I am no way a Browns fan but man this guy can simply play. He is a stud. I remember talking on air about how missing almost a whole season could kill his career. Boy was I wrong!!!
He still doesn’t know the playbook and isn’t 100% yet but wow, he is simply amazing. I hope he can keep out of trouble and on the field because talent wise he might be one of the best we will ever see.
I wish him the best and not because I have him on my fantasy team!
Fabber’s Thumb Up or Down, Welcome Back Josh Gordon!
Thumbs Up
– Isaiah Crowell scores big with half the reps. Tate being cut might help all parties involved. Over 80 yards rushing and almost five yards per attempt are good by itself. Add two touchdowns to make it even sweeter. He is a RB2 from here out.
– Josh Gordon if you missed my opening remarks returned with a bang. He totaled 120 yards receiving and it looks like a lot more is to come.
– Ryan Mathews rushed for over 100 yards and a score to give some comfort to the owners who hung onto him and faith.
– We can debate if Odell Beckham III catch was the best ever but its definitely in the running. WOW!!!!! That’s all I could say when I say it live. Looked like something out of the movies! The Kid from the movie “Little Giants” must of shared his stick and grip with him.
– Remember that movie?!?!? It is a sports classic and still a great movie. Seriously watch it.
– I was that kid wrapped in the foam because my mom didn’t want me to play. I was also the kid that took the foam tablets to try to scare the other kids away. Yea football didn’t start off to good for me if you were guessing.
– Ryan Tannehill stayed toe to toe with the biggest baddest (I know that’s not a word, relax) Joe, also known as Peyton Manning. I called Tannehill being a QB1 this year and right now he is a top 10 fantasy QB, just saying.
– Tony Romo showed up in a big way Sunday night and eased the mind of all his owners that feared the back would end him and his value. He might screw it up before the end but at least it didn’t happen yet.
– C.J. Anderson rushed for over 160 yards this weekend. Can you say Ronnie Hillman who? He is making a case to be the starter no matter who is playing. They better not bench him for Ball again!
– Latavius Murray might be in both sections this week. What an amazing start but a head injusy cut it three quarters short. Yes he scored over 20 points but I do not want to depend on him breaking a 90 yarder for a TD every week.
– Remember back when everyone said trade Eddie Lacy? I said hold onto him as tight as possible. He has been on point as of late and still has some good games ahead.
– Matt Forte is making a push to be the best running back in fantasy this year. Makes me feel better how high I ranked him preseason.
– Last two games for Dez Bryant has been exactly what fantasy owners have been hoping for all year. He scored 20 plus fantasy points in both of them and I wouldn’t be surprised if he kept it up for rest of year with that schedule.
– LeSean McCoy showed all of us doubters (me included) that he isn’t wasked up in the fantasy world. This is the first game of the year where he went over 100 yards and scored a touchdown. You could say that’s disappointing!
– Garth Brooks new CD is amazing! He doesn’t pay and I am talking that highly of it, that’s how good it is. People loving people, makes sense.
– T.Y. Hilton had a baby girl the morning of his game. He made it to the game barley and scored a touchdown. The celebration was dedicated to his daughter, well done T.Y., I was actually pulling for him at that moment.
– Jarvis Landry has slowly become the main target in Miami. Wallace, Miller, and other players still have value but this guy is still going up. I want him and could play him as a flex.
– Step up series of movies have trapped me in a life where I can get out of any jam as long as I dance. Love the idea but it just doesn’t work. Love the movies though and I hope I can find a life like that because I got moves kid!
– The Panthers (My team) having a buy and gaining ground on other team in the division. Sad but this is what we look forward to. That is how bad the south is in the NFC this year.
– Rashad Jennings had a nice game for himself. He isn’t 100% yet but he is good enough to start in your line-ups if need be.
– A black and white milk shake can bring me out of any funk I am in. What is your thing that can get you in a better mood no matter what?
– Justin Forsett shows again giving the right chance he can be a running back in the NFL. Guy has a great story, glad to see him doing well.
– Steve Smith might be the toughest small person on earth. Second only to the little guy in Lord of the Ring, maybe.
– Great bounce back game for Buffalo, like Jay-Z said “They bounced up like round ball”.
– Thursday will have football all day, damn right I am thankful!
Thumbs Down
– Saints defense just doesn’t have it this year. You see it anytime they play a QB that can pass the ball half way decent and an offensive line with the talent of a division one team. Panthers do not qualify.
– Drew Brees height is really starting to be a problem. I don’t know if his line got taller or if the defenders did but something is making him less efficient.
– The Jets might be making a run to beat out Oakland as the worst team in the NFL. That’s impressive at least.
– The Atlanta Falcons end of game defense. I mean really, it looked like eating string cheese might be more difficult than scoring on them.
– The price of Thanksgiving Day turkeys, I mean really! 60$ for a turkey, I told you buy a chicken.
– The Kansas City Chiefs, to be the only team that will lose to the Raiders most likely. Man that’s not a good thing.
– The movie, If I stay. Jesus, if I wanted to cry my eyes out I would think of my life. This movie is sad like being a Raider fan. That is some sad stuff.
– The Detroit Lions have not scored a touchdown in two games straight, eight quarters of play. That is with Stafford, Calvin Johnson, Golden Tate, and J Bell playing.
– The Houston Texans luck at quarterback. I mean what deal with the devil did this franchise make?
– The San Francisco 49ers almost lost to the Redskins at home on Sunday. This team has to many weapons to have all these close games with poor teams.
– RG3 is still the starter but does anyone know why? All I know is he lost many games for a franchise and fantasy teams.
– We have over six months to wait for Pitch Perfect 2, I want that thing NOW!!!!! If you didn’t know I loved that movie now you do. Laugh away, I am ok with it.
– Eli Manning throwing a interception in the red zone again this year to cost his team a game. He looks a lot like Romo of years past and no one likes that.
– Andre Ellington leading the Cardinals with 24 rushing yards, for the whole team. Really the only 24 I want to see is the show.
– Doug Martin even topped that with 27 yards. How did he get so bad?!?!?!
– The Washington Redskins played a whole game where their leading receiver has less than 40 yards. They lost if you were wondering.
– Stedman Bailey for ruining the day for all Kenny Brit owners. I mean really if you played Britt you kinda deserved for some guy names Stedman to ruin your day.
– The team that has Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jeffery was lead in receiving by Martellus Bennett, which isn’t horrible if he didn’t have only 37 yards. Jay Cutler I am running out of excuses for you.
– Jay Cutler, enough said!
– The whipped cream and cherries on milk shakes, I don’t know why but it isn’t for me!
– The Jacksonville Jaguars did get 200 yards of total offense, the whole team. That means Le’Veon. Bell ran for more yards by himself last game he played than the whole Jaguars team did their last game.
– That Thanksgiving isn’t everyday!
