Adam Rose made his long awaited WWE debut back in May and hasn’t done a whole lot in WWE over the past six months, but what he has done is introduce the WWE Universe to one of the most unique characters in WWE today – The Bunny.
Ever since The Bunny began showing off his wrestling skills the rumour mill came alight with suggestions of who this mysterious creature could be. Here is a comical look at some of the best contenders for the man behind the mask.
CM Punk
It seems the former World Champion decided that he can only be the true Best in the World if he can make Adam Rose look good. Why walk away from WWE when he can stay there and be taken under the wing of a mid-carder and be given no spotlight and no promo time? It’s simple, it’s because he loves to fool all of those internet wrestling fans and he doesn’t care if it means he has to be beaten up a “party boy” for the next few weeks. He still thinks he’s the Best in the World.
Brock Lesnar
The current WWE World Heavyweight Champion has been receiving a lot of abuse since he was handed the World title a few months ago, but the creative team didn’t have the brain power to be able to re-write every episode of Raw and bring in the Beast Incarnate. So Paul Heyman came up with a plan, Brock Lesnar would still be at every show, watching out for any competition – But he wouldn’t be seen. Hiding in plain sight, this is the perfect disguise – I mean think about it. Have you ever seen Brock and The Bunny in the same room?
Sting
The former WCW Legend has now signed a high profile WWE Legends contract and now WWE have control over him, he wants one last match and WWE are happy to allow him to have it. Against Adam Rose on the 2014 Survivor Series kick off show. Sting wasn’t happy about it to start off with but it seems he is enjoying having an actual mask on his face after all these years of having to paint it, it’s a relief that he no longer has to spend four hours in make-up prior to an event.
Chris Jericho
Y2J left WWE after Night of Champions when he was told Zack Ryder was going to be revealed as The Bunny, this didn’t sit well with Jericho so he walked away somewhat perplexed after all he had done for the fluffy animal’s character. Little did he know, Zack suffered a shoulder injury not long after and WWE had to change their plans and bring back Y2J so he could continue being the best part of the Rose tag team. The Bunny? Jericho invented that!
Kurt Angle
The former Olympian will do anything to get back on WWE Tv. But who knew he would dress up as a Bunny and hump Adam Rose? No one I guess, but it seems the former World Champion could be about to use his new identity to go after Rusev after recent comments about the country he won “an Olympic medal with a broken neck” for!
These seems to be the rumoured superstars that many of the WWE Universe believe could be under the mask. Personally, I think it’s more likely Sami Zayn as a way to bring him up to the main roster, but let your imagination run wild. It could be anyone!
