The Anaheim Ducks are going to be without the services of goaltender John Gibson for the next little while. Gibson will be out for six weeks with a groin injury that he suffered before the game against the Colorado Avalanche on Sunday. Ducks goalie coach Dwayne Roloson was forced to dress as an emergency backup for the game, while Jason LaBarbera got the start.

While Ducks starting goaltender Fredrik Andersen is day-to-day with leg tightness, the Ducks were forced to make two goaltending call-ups from the American Hockey League’s Norfolk Admirals.

The Ducks are home tonight to play the Vancouver Canucks, then home on Thursday night against the Toronto Maple Leafs. The Ducks then start a four game road trip starting in Philadelphia against the Flyers on Saturday night.
Gibson is 2-2-0 with a .927 save percentage and 2.28 GAA this season.
