In a Word is a week in sports recap column that recaps the major stories of the past week and sums them up, in just one word.
The highlight of the week for me was game seven of the World Series. While I was cheering for the Kansas City Royals, the pitching performance by Madison Bumgarner was amazing to watch. The guy was incredible on just two days rest. His performance in games 1, 5, and 7 of the series is the stuff of legends.
If that wasn’t enough excitement for one night or even a week, the World Series MVP presentation was stolen by Chevy Guy.
It was definitely a fun filled week in the sports world.
Madison Bumgarner – Incredible
San Francisco Giants – Champions
Nick Foles – Sanchez
Tony Romo – Out
Gary Player – Senile?
