The Edmonton Oilers have not started this season on a high note with their 4-6-1 record in 11 games and the recent news of an injury to left winger Taylor Hall is not good for the struggling team.
Hall was injured last night early in the second period of a 3-2 loss to the Vancouver Canucks and did not return. Here is a video of what happened to Hall as he was pushed off the puck by Canucks defenseman Chris Tanev, sending him crashing into the net with an apparent leg injury:

In eleven games for the Oilers this season, Hall has scored six goals, and four assists. Hall is the leading scorer on the Oilers team with ten points, and his offensive contributions will be missed, no matter how much time he is to miss in the team’s future.
Update: Taylor Hall has been diagnosed with a sprained MCL and will miss 2-4 weeks.
