Top Ten College Wide Receivers

College Football loses some amazing receiver talent in 2014, including 18 juniors who opted to go early to the NFL Draft and the top eight players in receiving yardage. The SEC was especially hit hard with the conference’s all-time receiver leader Jordan Matthews moving to the pros along with Mike Evans, Odell Beckham Jr, Jarvis Landry and Dante Moncrief while Dorial Green-Beckham won’t see any action after scoring 12 touchdowns in 2013. Who’s left? Amari Cooper disappeared for the first half of 2013 after exploding onto the scene as a freshman by becoming AJ McCarron’s main target in Alabama’s BCS Title run. Will Cooper pull a Sammy Watkins and bounce back as a junior? Laquon Treadwell followed in Cooper’s first year footsteps with 72 receptions as a freshman All-American at Ole Miss. Is this only the beginning for the country’s #1 rated wide receiver coming out of high school in 2013? The Pac 12 may boast the best quarterbacks in the land with Mariota, Hundley and Kelly. Who’s going to benefit from all that star quality? MarkRogersTV looks over the remains and chooses a Top Ten list.

Mark Rogers has interviewed big time NCAA coaches Tommy Tuberville, George O’Leary, Troy Calhoun, Sonny Dykes, Blake Anderson, Bill Blankenship, Ron Caragher, Matt Wells, and more on his station. In addition to these they feature analysis of the latest games, picks and point spreads, and coverage of the NFL and NBA. Be sure to check back often as Mark Rogers will be sharing his best stuff right here at LWOS going forward and we are happy to have him on board.
