As NASCAR returns to Kentucky, the newest track on the circuit, and Joe Gibbs is still without a 1.5 mile course win. NASCAR Nationwide at Kentucky
Qualifying: Friday at 3:40pm EST on FS1
Race: Friday at 7:30pm EST on ESPN
Previous winner: Brad Keselowski
It looked as though it was going to be a three driver Shootout to win the Nationwide Series Points Championship this season, but the top three aren’t exactly pulling away. The second group of three stayed relatively close, but Ty Dillon is closing in on a win as well. Brendan Gaughn found his way back to victory lane and has made up a bunch of ground in points, trying to seperate from the 8-10 positions. Landon Cassill fought his way into the top ten in an underfunded JD Motorsports car too. 47 cars are on the entry list to qualify which marks one of the biggest NNS fields in the last five years.
