NBA Tops and Flops of the Week- NBA Finals Edition

With the NBA Finals entering crunch time here is a look around the NBA to determine who has been great (tops) and not so great (flops) in the last seven days as the postseason rumbles on.

Tops-NBA Finals Edition

San Antonio Spurs– Their home loss in game 2 saw the Spurs lose home advantage, but a superb reaction on the road in game 3, resulting in a double digit win, means they now have control of the NBA Finals once again.

Kawhi Leonard- That win in game 3 was mainly thanks to this player: His great scoring (29 points) and his lock down defense on Lebron James allowed the Spurs to dominate the game from start to finish. Kawhi is definitely a key factor for the Spurs if they hope to go on to win the title.

Derek Fisher- After a decent season as a player, the 39 year old has been hired as the head Coach for the Knicks next season. With a poor record of 37-45 last year, consequently missing out on the playoffs, Fisher has a huge challenge ahead of him, but one where he doesn’t have much to lose.

Flops-NBA Finals Edition

Miami Heat- Their home loss in game 3 of the Finals means they now have tons of pressure in game 4, a must win game for them. Lebron James is going to have to find a soultion, defensively and offensively, against Kawhi Leonard, if the Heat have any chance of getting a threepeat.

Ronnie Brewer- The Bulls guard has been accused of a DUI, a drunken driving charge. The allegations date back to February. However, Brewer has pleaded not guilty, and lets hope that turns to be true.
