Wishful Thinking – In a Word (Week in Sports) – Herschel Walker, Michael Pineda, Vernon Davis and More

In a Word is week in sports recap column that recaps the major stories of the past week, in one word.

Wishful thinking is the common theme this week. Be it, living in a fantasy world, being your team’s franchise quarterback, having to state the obvious about your team’s goals, or trying to be discreet, the players involved in this week sure gave sports fans a lot to talk about this week.

There were some individuals that made us think that they had no place in their respective leagues and then there were some stories that just made us laugh. I think that this past week had something for everyone.
