We at Last Word on Sports are always looking to bring our fans new and exciting sports coverage. This week is no different as we bring a new sports podcast produced by the same people who bring you our popular Hammer Radio program, its our latest sports radio show: The Three Point Convert. The Three Point Convert will be a weekly podcast talking this week in sports with hosts Jeff Hall (LWOSJeff), Mike Jeffery, and Dan “The Doctor” Ryan.
In this episode the boys are talking NFL football as they preview the Super Bowl, and give you their picks for the big story lines of the week and for the big game. They also give their picks for the major NFL awards of the year.
The boys then move on to the NBA where they take a look at the NBA Jersey phenomenons of Nicknames on the back of the jerseys, as well as Basketball Jerseys with sleeves. They also take a look at the coming NBA trade deadline, and how the big free agent class of this summer will effect it.
Switching gears again the boys look at the huge deal signed by Masahiro Tanaka and what the New York Yankees latest spending spree means for the rest of MLB and especially the AL East, as well as predicting how Tanaka will fare with the transition to MLB.
Lastly the boys look at the latest in the NHL and the big story of John Tortorella, Bob Hartley, and the NHL’s latest line brawl, and the playoff chase in the NHL as we look forward to the last 30 or so games of the season.
