We at Last Word on Sports are always looking to bring our fans new and exciting sports coverage. This week is no different as we introduce a new sports podcast produced by the same people who bring you our popular Hammer Radio program, its the debut of our latest sports radio show: The Three Point Convert. The Three Point Convert will be a weekly podcast talking this week in sports with hosts Jeff Hall, Mike Jeffery, and Dan “The Doctor” Ryan.
In this episode the boys are talking NFL football as they preview conference championship weekend, they also look at the upcoming Pro Football Hall of Fame selections, and give you their picks for the big induction announcement that will come on the eve of the Super Bowl.
The boys then move on to the NBA where they take a look at the Toronto Raptors and how the team has been transformed by the trade of Rudy Gay, as well as talking about the biggest disappointments in the NBA. Will it be Brooklyn, New York, the Los Angeles Lakers or someone else?
Switching gears again the boys look at the huge deal signed by Clayton Kershaw and what the Dodgers latest spending spree means for the rest of MLB. They also look at Max Scherzer, and David Price and what their contract situations mean going forward. They also look at the Masahiro Tanaka watch and try and predict where the latest Japanese sensation will fall. Lastly the boys look at the recent Baseball Hall-of-Fame selections and the controversial omissions of Craig Biggio, Roger Clemens, and Barry Bonds. Lastly the boys look at the Toronto Blue Jays and their relatively quiet off-season and what the team will need to compete in the AL East in 2014.
