I can’t believe the Wayne Rooney to Arsenal story is still rumbling on. Surely this just a load of cudfuddle, yes? Is he after a new contract or is there really substance to the rumours? I really cannot believe them myself but in the crazy world of football anything is possible…… Sticking to the Gunners for just another moment, Everton’s Marouane Fellani has been backed into even money from 16-1 to join the Gunners. There is certainly more chance of that than of Rooney, me reckons. It makes more sense financially, and is more in-line with “Wengerism” than paying over 200,000 per week in wages for Roo…… Jose Mourinho has come back to win silver, so it’s glaringly obvious they need a world class striker. Napoli’s Edinson Cavani fits the bill and may well move to Stamford Bridge. I have a funny feeling if this happens Fernando Torres will go the other way. Who else is “The Special One” going to buy though?…… Gareth Bale to Real Madrid seems for the moment to have calmed down, but don’t worry this will run and run. It will heat back up before you know it…..One player definitely leaving Real Madrid is Gonzalo Higuain with Juventus one possibly destination. He has been linked with Arsenal, and many feel contact has been made between the player, clubs and agent……Fernanandinho’s mega deal to Man City will add yet another exciting arrow after already splashing out on Jesus Navas, and Manuel Pellegrini looks certain to be new team manager…….
Here are another few rumours that are just plain daft. I won’t bother with commentary:
Carlos Tevez to Juventus? Cristiano Ronaldo to Manchester United? Luis Suarez to Real Madrid? Thomas Vermaelen to Barca? Cesc Fabregas to either Arsenal or Manchester United? Edin Dzeko to Chelsea? Stevan Jovetic to Arsenal or Juventus?
I could on and on, but these ones involve some big names and massive clubs. Only time will tell whether they amount to anything. One tip – keep an eye on betting sites like SkyBet -those bookies definitely have people ITK.
