Let’s first take a look at some transactions that are either completed, or very close to it, before we check out today’s hottest transfer rumous:
So, the so called “Special One”, Jose Mourinho, is back at Stamford Bridge after a very eventful time in charge at Real Madrid. But can he win the title back for Chelsea? Time will tell, but with Abramovich willing to spend bags full of money at the drop of a hit, make the odds very much in his favour……Barcelona unveil Neymar to the masses, and the lad is now out of the comfort zone of Brazilian football. It’s time to see how good Neymar really is. Am I alone in thinking he rode the hype-train for too long?…… The very likable Roberto Martinez leaves relegated Wigan for the Everton hotseat. It’s a good fit for both and again Everton will fight for the Europa League next season. Now only if they can hang on to the likes of the Baines and Fellaini‘s of the squad……Sevilla‘s winger Jesus Navas looks likely to be heading to Manchester City with probable new boss Pellegrini following him soon afterwards.
Now for some rumours. Some are quite silly and made up by the Media and others seem to have some steam:
Wayne Rooney – as The Clash would say, “Should I Stay or Should I Go”. I don’t know if he has made a firm decision yet, but if he needs a cuddle to help him out, I’m not sure David Moyes is the man. PSG look very interested but it all comes to down to where Rooney’s mind is at!……The Brazilian striker Damião has long been targeted by Spurs but with No Champions League football to offer him, will that move go down the drainpipe?……Speaking of Spurs, I cant see the David Villa rumours being true myself, but the rumour has sold a few newspapers……Asmir Begovic looks likely to joining Liverpool, and Julio Cesar to Arsenal look to be very real?……It appears that Real will continue to do the firework display to get Gareth Bale to sign, but there’s nothing new in any credible media source on this…….
If anyone has had enough of rumours, sorry for the bad news but we have about 6weeks of this. Till next time.
