Hammer 239 – Kyle Nelson and Mike Malott

In what is as close to a slow week in MMA that we get nowadays, this episode we recap last weekend’s UFC Fight Night: Maia vs. LaFlare and Titan FC 33 events, and take a very quick preview the upcoming weekend’s Bellator 135: Warren vs. Galvao and World Series of Fighting 19: Gaethje vs. Palomino shows.

We also catch up with a couple of up-and-coming Ontario Featherweights.  First up is Kyle Nelson, a 6-0 Featherweight who is heading to the upcoming The Ultimate Fighter tryouts in Las Vegas.   Then we check in again with World Series of Fighting’s Mike Malott to find out how his current training camp at Team Alpha Male in Sacramento is going.

Finally we get into some recent MMA news including what looks like the end of Brock Lesnar’s fighting career, the future of the TAPOUT clothing brand, Christiane “Cyborg” Justiano’s current status, and TJ Dillashaw’s rib injury.

Hosted by Steve Jeffery, Dave Abraham, and Greg Persson.

Listen to us Wednesday nights at 6:30pm on CFMU 93.3 FM, and online at http://www.thehammermma.com, Last Word On SportsThe Itunes Store, Stitcher, MMAPodcast.com, find @SteveJeffery on Twitter, or just email us.
