We at LWOS are always looking for new and innovative ways to bring our fans more coverage of the sports they love. And so today we bring our loyal readers and listeners Episode #9 of our hockey podcast, “Tape to Tape” featuring LWOS Hockey Analysts, Chicago-native brothers Dom and Cristian Simonetta.

Stanley Cup Final Game 4 Preview

Today’s episode continues the “Stanley Cup Edition” of the podcast which will be previewing and recapping the series as a whole, and a new episode will air before every game between the New York Rangers and the Los Angeles Kings as they battle for Lord Stanley’s mug.

Episode 9 starts off with the brothers recapping Games 2 and 3 of the Cup Final by analyzing the Kings and their ability to shut down the Rangers speed late in games throughout the series. Henrik Lundqvist’s play in net for the Blueshirts is also highlighted as Dom and Cristian discuss what he needs to do to give the Rangers a chance to extend their season.

Then, the abundance of confidence that the Los Angeles Kings and head coach Darryl Sutter possess in their game is broken down entirely. Dom and Cristian then reveal the who they believe have the ability to impact the game for their respective team individually, and which players will be key for their club to win Game 4. Towards the end of the episode, key factors for both sides are mentioned which include top-line production for New York and the Kings in terms of taking the lead early in MSG.

In the end, the two provide their predictions for the game as well.
