Transfer Banter: Bale, Falcao, Fab, Suarez, Isco, and Cavani – Oh My!

Christ, the way Real Madrid have gone after Gareth Bale has really crossed the line.  The Team’s President saying, “He was born to play for Real Madrid” is such a pile of horse crap.  If this isn’t tapping up a player I don’t what is.  You can buy players worth millions, but you cannot buy CLASS!

So now back to some sort of normality as Atletico Madrid’s superstar Falcao goes to Monaco purely for football reasons.  Yeah, right, nothing to do with the tax haven or getting paid an absolutely bucketload of dosh, is it?  No need to answer that, rhetorical. So what else is going on in the crazy world of the transfer window?  Let’s just move on.

Silly rumours of Cesc Fabregas going to either Manchester United or Manchester City abound.  I think that’s a non-starter.  Why would Barca sell a player yet to reach his prime?  Next up…

Luis Suarez, who would take a big bite (pun intended) out of any club’s budget, looks poised to move – but where would he go?  Real Madrid ? Maybe. But with Liverpool making the right noises about keeping him I personally think he will be playing at Anfield next season.  Then again Suarez has come out admitting he wants to leave, so will player power  win on this one?

Is Manuel Pellegrini going to be the next muppet master at Man City?   If so, don’t be surprised if the long term City target, Isco, follows him too.

Napoli’s Edinson Cavani would cost at least 50 million leaving only the likes of Chelsea, PSG, Real Madrid, Barcelona, Manchester United and Manchester City.   But will he leave Italy?

So over the comings days and months I will try to stay current with the changing transfer market.  Until next time…

Oh, and remember don’t believe everything you read in the Media! Lies, BS, lies and more BS!  Whoever said there is truth in every rumour is an idiot.
