Alexander Bublik ahead of ATP Indian Wells

ATP Kitzbuhel Best Bets Including Alexander Bublik Vs Tomas Martin Etcheverry

The ATP Kitzbuhel tournament continues with the semifinals on Friday. Both matches are compelling and do not look like straightforward encounters. The first of the two semifinals is a matchup few tennis experts had. The majority view was that Mariano Navone would get through to the final four in Austria, but Quentin Halys knocked him off. Clay specialist Sebastian Baez thought he had a chance to get to the semifinals at this tournament, but Yannick Hanfmann stopped him. Those results surprised a lot of people. There will be one very unlikely finalist on Saturday.

The second semifinal at ATP Kitzbuhel is the big showdown. It’s the top seed, Alexander Bublik, against No. 4 seed Tomas Martin Etcheverry. The winner will be the clear favorite in Saturday’s final, for a chance at a clay trophy before the ATP Tour moves to North America for hardcourts. LWOS has our best bets for two matches. Post your best bets and thoughts in the comments.

ATP Kitzbuhel

Yannick Hanfmann – Quentin Halys: 6:30 EST

H2H: 0-2

Yannick Hanfmann beat Sebastian Baez. Quentin Halys beat Mariano Navone. Both men in this ATP Kitzbuhel semifinal are coming off strong wins a lot of people did not expect. Halys beating Navone was the bigger upset. Now we get to see if Halys can carry his momentum and form into the semis and take out Hanfmann. Even though Hanfmann is ranked close to 30 spots higher than Halys, he is 0-2 against his French opponent. It sets up a mystery-soaked match to begin the semifinal doubleheader in Austria.

Best Bet to Make

Welcome to our best bet section. You’re going to get a collection of bets to consider, also a confidence level which should guide how much you should invest in this match.

Parlay/hedge options: Hanfmann moneyline 1.65 at @1xbet, Halys plus 1.5 sets 1.53 at @coral

Confidence level on a scale of 1-10: 1 – You should not bet on this match.

Two players who just pulled upsets now meet each other. That feels like a very uncertain situation, the very kind of scenario in which you really shouldn’t place a bet on a sporting competition, in tennis or any other sport. If you absolutely have to bet (beyond the parlay and hedge pieces we have listed), lean to Halys because of his winning head-to-head record over Hanfmann.

That being said, betting on Halys +2.5 games is the best bet you can make.

Value bet/ the best odds: Halys +2.5 games at 1.70 @betsson

Alexander Bublik – Tomas Martin Etcheverry: 8:00 EST

H2H: 2-0

This is as good a matchup as any tennis fan can expect in an ATP 250 clay event. It’s the top seed versus the No. 4 seed on red clay on a late Friday summer afternoon in the heart of Europe. This is the good stuff.

Alexander Bublik and Tomas Martin Etcheverry moved smoothly through their quarterfinals. They beat competent and respectable clay tennis players in straight sets. Bublik rolled Alex Molcan in two sets, while Etcheverry cruised past Ignacio Buse. Bublik is the higher-ranked player, and he also leads the head-to-head 2-0, but both players are playing well. Will Etcheverry’s positive form be enough for him to change the direction of this one-on-one matchup?

Best Bet to Make

Parlay/hedge options: Bublik moneyline at 1.60 at @1xbet, Etcheverry +1.5 sets at 1.53 @10bet

Confidence level on a scale of 1-10: 4 – You should bet no more than half a unit on this match.

Bublik does lead the head-to-head 2-0, but you will notice that both wins came in three sets. This leads us to the main bet for this match: over 2.5 sets. Etcheverry hasn’t been blown out by Bublik; he simply hasn’t been able to get over the hump in a final set. It’s pretty reasonable to expect another three-setter, though we recommend you don’t bet too much on that outcome. It’s natural to not bet everything on a match you expect to be close.

That being said, betting on over 2.5 sets is the best bet you can make.
