Northeast Wrestling (NEW) is one of the top independents on the east coast, world-renowned for working with almost every promotion on the face of the earth in its almost 25 Years of history. Northeast Wrestling continues to adapt over the times and is looking to establish a mid-card. Thus, The Northeast Wrestling Live Championship was born. A championship under the simple concept of matches for this belt taking place on live streaming platforms. At the previous NEW event, we had a tournament to crown the four men who would face each other in two singles matches to go off against each other in the finals. These are the results.
A tournament was set and it was called the “NEW Live” Tournament. It featured the likes of Christian Casanova, JT Dunn, Keith Youngblood, Chuck Cold Steil O’Neil, Wrecking Ball Legursky, the debuting Dan Maff and Chris Battle. Both Wrecking Ball and Dan Maff would go to a double DQ. Keith Youngblood would gain a major upset defeating Mike Verna and Christian Casanova would defeat Chris Battle. It was at this show in November that Christian Casanova and Tasha Steelz would form the Culture SZN faction. JT Dunn would beat Chuck O’Neil. In the main event of the next show, the final show of the NEW calendar, Holiday Havoc the winners of their respective matches would face off in a triple threat.
The crowd was absolutely electric for the main event between Youngblood, Casanova, and Dunn having just seen Dan Maff and Legurky go to war. Youngblood is sick and tired of waiting for his opportunity to come as he feels he should be NEW champion by now. But with Darby Allin busy with AEW the top title in NEW has not been defended recently. Dunn was looking for personal redemption having lost the NEW championship to Allin and then proceeding to be humiliated by Matt Taven. The personal storylines of each man only added to the atmosphere.

By the end of this match, Christian Casanova would pick up a win with an assist from Tasha Steelz to become the inaugural Northeast Wrestling Live Champion. This is the first time Christian Casanova has held gold within Northeast Wrestling and this would be a night for Culture SZN, with Tasha Steelzs also picking up a victory against Angel Sinclair and a new duo of Trigga The O.G. and Royce Bishop known as Killanova Inc defeating another new team of Traevon Jordan and Jaylen Brandyn.
