Championship Wrestling Association (CWA) will have its first event in 2019 this Saturday with Reyes del Hexagono. The company is returning to the Puerto Rico Convention Center and it has another stacked show.
CWA Championship: Justin Dynamite (c) vs. Christopher Daniels
Justin Dynamite, who ended the longest championship reign in the island’s history, will defend he newly won CWA Championship against a legend. When Justin was barely a baby, Christopher Daniels was building his name in World Wrestling Council in Puerto Rico. Moreover, Justin’s father, Black Scorpion, once wrestle CD in the early days of International Wrestling Association. Now, the biggest test for Justin begins, when he goes head-to-head to the man that they called “Fallen Angel”. The main event will surely deliver, with Dynamite having explosive offense and Daniels bringing a veteran command of the action.
El Mesias and Mecha Wolf 450 Are At It Again
Another big match is the return of El Mesias. Back in Christmas Showdown, the man known as Mil Muertes lost against the best wrestler in the island right now, Mecha Wolf 450. Mesias gets a second chance in a no-DQ match this Saturday. Mecha Wolf 450 has proven to be the best star in any company he sets foot in. Can he keep this winning streak?
Electro is Back and Other Big Matches
In Christmas Showdown, former World Wrestling League wrestler and member of Puro Macho, Electro, did the unthinkable. He was able to beat Puerto Rican veteran and former WWC World Tag Team Champion, Lynx, and also, the former Evolve Champion, Shane Strickland. Now, one of the most promising stars in 2019, will take on the former CWA Champion, Star Roger. The latter had a historic run and was proclaimed the King of Pro Wrestling in 2018. Roger is still the ace of CWA and wants to get back to the top.
Other big matches in the event will be the three-way for the CWA Tag Team titles between BMS (champions), Westside Mafia and Los Fugitivos. Also, newly crowned champions Leinord White and Zeuxis will tag to face their upcoming threats, Roxxy and Nexen. Akiles Falcon will defend his title against the former champion, Edwin Garcia. Also, first round matches for the Accion Vibrante championship will take place.
