Last night in Monterrey, Mexico, Jeff Jarrett made his return to AAA for Verano de Escandalo, entering the AAA Mega Championship match against champion Rey Wagner (formerly Dr. Wagner Jr.) and Rey Mysterio Jr. In a shocking move, Jarrett defeated Wagner, after special guest referee La Parka made the three count. La Parka would remove his mask to reveal himself as Konnan instead, and Jeff Jarrett became the newest member of Konnan’s faction MAD, that also features Juventud Guerrera, Killer Kross and Teddy Hart. This is Jarrett’s second reign as AAA Mega Champion, following his first reign back in 2011 (which ironically was also in alliance with Konnan).
