All Elite Wrestling (AEW) today announced via its ShopAEW.com Twitter page that it had aligned with Susan G. Komen. This is a notable partnership, of course, as Susan G. Komen has been a notable partner of rival promotion, WWE, since 2012. Moving forward and without knowing the finer details, it would appear that AEW’s deal with the charity relates to percentages of t-shirt sales going to the charity, whose mission it is to combat breast cancer.
A Decision Not Without Controversy
If you're going to give money to a company that claims to raise money for finding a cure for cancer, please do some research.Komen is a scam

The WWE partnership with Susan G. Komen has come under scrutiny almost since its very beginning. Having faced accusations of pinkwashing for years (the process of a charity giving back a disproportionate amount of proceeds to the cause it is raising money for), there have been calls for the WWE to align with a more trustworthy charity with a proven track-record of donating large sums of money to the cause, as opposed to the disproportionate amount Susan G. Komen has been accused of donating. It should come at little to no surprise that AEW has already began facing a backlash from much of social media; with many accusing the professional wrestling promotion of aligning with a poor choice of charity.
Top AEW wrestler and former WWE superstar, CM Punk, has been a noted critic of Susan G. Komen in the past; having accused the charity of being a “company that claims to raise money for finding a cure for cancer” and a “scam”. Additionally, in the past few minutes, Punk has taken to Twitter once more; posting a GIF with the caption “we’re working on it”. This is believed to be a reference to Punk, and other disgruntled employees, attempting to convince Tony Khan to back out of the deal and align with another charity. However, this is, of course, speculation.
We will have more news on this story as it proceeds.
