TNA Turning Point 2024 takes place on Friday, November 29 at the Benton Convention Center in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. This is set to be the second-last TNA+ Monthly Special. The card has eight matches on offer (at time of writing) but there could be some special appearances in the form of NXT Superstars.
Continuing its partnership and collaboration with WWE, it would be great to see NXT talent pop up at TNA Turning Point. These three NXT stars could definitely bring more eyes to the event but also add great elements to it altogether.
Ethan Page Returns at TNA Turning Point?
Ethan Page is best known for his time in AEW and ROH but, before that, he was also part of the TNA (fka Impact Wrestling) roster. During his time in TNA, Page was predominantly featured on the tag team roster, alongside Josh Alexander. Together, they were known as The North.
At Turning Point, Alexander has a no-disqualification match against Steve Maclin. This could open the door for Page to return “from the dead”. Now being a former NXT Champion, Page’s stock has gone up significantly since his time in TNA.
Now, whether his return would be beneficial for Alexander or not is the main question. On one hand, it could be to help his former partner and prove that he has turned a new leaf. But, on the other hand (more likely), Page could be up to his tricks again.
Roxanne Perez Inserts Herself Into Knockouts World Title Match?
A major showcase of the WWE-TNA crossovers has been in the form of Jordynne Grace. In recent months, Grace has been a frequent fixture on NXT. It’s only right that NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez finally repays the favor.
At Turning Point, Grace will challenge Masha Slamovich for the TNA Knockouts World Championship in a two-out-of-three-falls match. This can be expected to be one of the most intense matches on the card and a special appearance by Perez could bump the stakes that much higher.
Perez could cost Grace the match that could’ve put her back in place as the Knockouts World Champion. This would also be a great showcase of the NXT gold at a major TNA event.
Trick Williams Welcomes All Challengers – NXT or TNA?
NXT Champion Trick Williams has been having quite the year. Just this year, he has become a two-time titleholder, and he is on track to touch down on 60 days in this second reign. Williams recently appeared on the “In The Kliq Podcast”, and he praised the WWE-TNA crossover whilst also welcoming any challengers for his title that TNA might have.
Williams could decide to head to the Benton Convention Center and get a closer look at the TNA men’s division. Perhaps someone might feel bold enough to challenge Williams at a future date?
Regardless, it would be a big deal for TNA to have the top guy and face of NXT in attendance. Even if it’s just Williams hanging out and watching the action.
