From his return to WWE in August of 2020 up until his loss against Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania XL, Roman Reigns had been accompanied by Paul Heyman, one of the greatest managers in professional wrestling history. Heyman has been alongside him through all the ups and downs of The Bloodline.
When Reigns took a hiatus after the loss, Heyman accompanied Solo Sikoa and his Bloodline. That ended up costing him dearly, as Sikoa’s Bloodline disposed of him last summer. Reigns came back at SummerSlam but without his Wiseman.
There hasn’t even been a mention of him until last Friday night on SmackDown. Reigns tried calling him but his number was disconnected. Knowing what we know about their current situation, will the Wiseman return to guide the OG Bloodline to victory in WarGames, or has he cut them off for good?
Paul Heyman is in the Right with Roman Reigns
Heyman and Reigns were as tight as can be, even after Reigns’ heartbreaking loss against Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania XL. They were there for each other multiple times since Reigns became the Tribal Chief. But after Sikoa and his Bloodline took out Heyman, there was silence from Reigns until his return around a month afterward.
Even then, the issue was about Sikoa making himself the Tribal Chief and not them betraying Heyman. It seems that Reigns called Heyman as a last resort, not because he truly needed him. In that case, it’s fair to assume that Heyman didn’t give Reigns his new number.
His biggest supporter hasn’t even spoken his name in months, seemingly casting aside a powerful partnership. It seems that Heyman doesn’t need Reigns anymore, and he is right to move on to other people and things.
Heyman Knows How Powerful Solo Sikoa’s Bloodline Has Become
Even though he ended up getting betrayed by Sikoa’s incarnation of the Bloodline, the nearly three months he spent with them could have given him an advantage. If there’s anyone that knows their strengths and weaknesses, it’s Heyman.
Sikoa and his crew think that they’ve disposed of him forever and that he’s not coming back. That’s what he wants them to think. If this is a grand plan to spring him on them at the last minute, perhaps at WarGames, it’ll put the advantage in the OG Bloodline’s hands.
If everyone is back together, including Heyman, they’ll remember what made them special in the first place. Having the Wiseman and his knowledge of Sikoa’s Bloodline back in their corner could help the OG Bloodline win the WarGames match.
Whatever Happens Will Be a Guaranteed Surprise
The true winners in this situation are the fans because we have no idea what’s going to happen. That’s why the segment closed SmackDown last Friday.
Could Heyman come back and surprise Sikoa’s Bloodline? Will he come back this Friday or the next and reunite with the OG Bloodline? Maybe he’s coming back with someone new or an old friend.
All these questions and theories are logical, which adds another intriguing twist to the Bloodline saga. One of the Bloodlines will be in for a surprise when Paul Heyman comes back to WWE television.
Until that time comes, fans will have to continue to speculate and piece together what we have been provided with so far. The anticipation is at an all-time high, with the fans not having too much longer to wait until The Wiseman returns.
