Preview: WWE SmackDown (10/11/24) – First SmackDown after Bad Blood

This week’s WWE SmackDown marks another reset for the WWE landscape. It’s the first Blue brand show after the events of WWE Bad Blood in Atlanta, Georgia.

It will be one intriguing episode, to say the least, considering The Rock and Jimmy Uso made their grand returns, as well as Kevin Owens turning his back on Cody Rhodes.

While the details of this edition of WWE Friday Night SmackDown are shrouded in mystery, one thing is for certain-it’s going to be an episode you won’t want to miss. With that in mind, let’s dive into the latest installment of SmackDown. Let’s run it down.

Announced for WWE SmackDown:

  • Roman Reigns Will Appear Live on WWE SmackDown
  • WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship Match: Jade Cargill & Bianca Belair (c) vs. Jakara Jackson and Lash Legend

SmackDown Becomes (White And) Golden

On the second episode of WWE NXT on The CW, WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair teamed with Kelani Jordan to take down Fatal Influence. If the night would’ve ended there, everyone would’ve been happy. But, it didn’t.

Young upstarts Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson immediately stepped up to the plate and challenged Cargill and Belair for the titles on this week’s SmackDown. As everyone expected, the champions did not back down and immediately accepted the challenge.

These two teams are very similar despite being at drastically different points in their career. One team is the face of WWE while the other aims to make an impact with an upset win and titles around their waist.

It’s going to be an exciting match, folks, as the present and future collide this Friday night!

Will Jackson and Legend pull of the big win? Or will Jade and Bianca notch another successful title defense in their second reign?

The OTC Speaks

WWE Bad Blood was one for the record books with unexpected returns and fantastic wrestling matches.

In the main event, Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes vanquished The Bloodline in spectacular fashion, with the help of a returning Jimmy Uso. Admittedly, the whole WWE Universe thought that show in Atlanta was done.

Until the music hit and “The Final Boss” The Rock also made his return. While we don’t know the exact reasons Rocky made his way back to the WWE, it seems like Roman Reigns still has a lot to say, and he will say it live in front of a packed crowd on WWE SmackDown.

What does the OTC have to say after WWE Bad Blood?

We’ll find out soon and more! So, tune in this Friday night only on the USA Network.
