Last Monster Standing

Wow. What a job WWE has done in building interest in watching Braun Strowman and Bronson Reed rip each other apart. The two monsters have had a series of no-contest brawls when their size and recklessness have failed to be conducive to the rules of any match.

Fans, security, rings, walls, tables, and video screens have all fallen victim to the destruction Reed and Strowman create when thrown together.

If Adam Pearce wasn’t bald already he’d have pulled his hair out at the stress the two have caused him. He has finally stopped trying to keep them apart and promised war.

This week, we will see Reed vs. Strowman in a last monster-standing match. Expect pure explosive chaos.

The Miz could play a role as he was crushed at the WWE Universe’s delight when his match with Reed couldn’t go ahead – last week – because Strowman interfered.

New Day Feeling New Tension

The New Day is suffering a 10-year itch. The seemingly bonded-for-life pair of Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods are living different lives and feeling different emotions.

Woods can’t get over that he’s never held a singles title in WWE. He thinks people feel he doesn’t matter. He’s also fuming that Kingston has unlisted outside help without consulting him.

The LWO cost The New Day a tag team title victory when they tried to help them against The Judgement Day. Woods blames Kingston and the LWO.

Woods faces Rey Mysterio this week after the legendary luchador seemed to reach his tolerance level with Woods sulking.

WWE telling the story of Woods feeling undervalued and insecure in the same week Jey Uso finally won his first singles title is another example of how having stories that link up has helped WWE Raw become the exceptional viewing it is.

Meanwhile, Kingston faces Chad Gable who is looking to prove that nobody is on the level of his American Made faction.

Everything Else

Dominik Mysterio, Carlito and JD McDonagh of The Judgement Day will take on the LWO’s Dragon Lee, Joaquin Wilde and Cruz Del Toro. Lee beat Carlito last week so The Judgement Day will want retribution.

Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest might struggle not to give in to the temptation to get involved should Liv Morgan and Finn Balor accompany The Judgement Day to ringside.

Ripley challenges Morgan for the Women’s World Championship at Bad Blood whilst Balor and Priest go one-on-one at the PLE.

Lyra Valkyria will challenge Pure Fusion Collective’s Zoey Stark as part of their ongoing rivalry.

Finally, after weeks of saying very nasty things at each other safe in the knowledge their foe is at home, CM Punk and Drew McIntyre will have a head-to-head before their Hell in a Cell match at Bad Blood.
