As part of the major Grand Slam week AEW Collision was taped on Wednesday alongside AEW Dynamite at Arthur Ashe Stadium. The show is loaded up in the spirit of Grand Slam with Jamie Hayter, Jack Perry’s open challenge, a trios title match, and Kazuchika Okada just some of what’s in store for this week’s show. AEW Collision Spoilers for September 28

Jack Perry Open Challenge

Jack Perry’s open challenge was answered by Minoru Suzuki. Perry defeated Suzuki and was ran off by Katsuyori Shibata after the match, Shibata then embraced Suzuki.

Action Andretti vs Brody King

Brody King defeated Action Andretti. Top Flight had to make the save for Andretti after the match.

Tornado Tag: Jericho Learning Tree vs Conglomeration

Chris Jericho, Big Bill and Bryan Keith defeated Orange Cassidy, Kyle O’Reilly and Mark Briscoe

Saraya Rules: Jamie Hayter vs Saraya

Jamie Hayter defeated Saraya in the Saraya Rules match

Lumberjack Strap Match: Jeff Jarrett vs Hangman Page

Hangman Page defeated Jeff Jarrett

AEW World Trios Titles: PAC, Claudio Castagnoli & Wheeler Yuta (c) vs Komander & Private Party

PAC, Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta retained the trios titles by defeated Komander, Marq Quen & Isisah Kassidy. Yuta won the match for his time by doing a cattle mutilation which he didn’t release at the bell. Castagnoli showed his admiration at this and the group appears to be fully heel now.

The Beast Mortos vs Dralistico vs Hologram

Hologram defeated The Beast Mortos and Dralistico. After the match Mortos and Dralistico fought until RUSH calmed tensions down, the trio then beat down Hologram.

MxM Collective

MxM Collective stole Max Caster’s jacked and put it on a model doing poses in the ring which eventually unmasked to reveal it was Billy Gunn. Seems like this died with the live crowd

AEW Continental Championship: Kazuchika Okada (c) vs Sammy Guevara

Kazuchika Okada defeated Sammy Guevara to retain the AEW Continental Championship.
