Why Jack Perry Will Be The Top Star At AEW All Out 2024

An AEW All Out 2024 match graphic featuring Jack Perry and Bryan Danielson.

Jack Perry has been on a hot streak since his return to AEW, at AEW Dynasty 2024 in April. In these few months, he has already been able to capture the TNT Championship. This being his first singles title run, he is making sure it is a run to remember.

Perry is ensuring that there will be no TNT Champion like him. He took it upon himself to create his own custom TNT Championship. In an Instagram video, he showed the entire process of making the current AEW TNT Championship.

Since returning to AEW, Perry has shown another side we haven’t seen. For years, he has been a face in the company; now, on his own as a singles competitor and heel, he has become one of the main guys in the company.

Let’s examine why Jack Perry will be the top star in AEW All Out 2024.

“The Scapegoat” Jack Perry

Jack Perry’s heel turn began after he turned on Hook at Forbidden Door 2024. Since then, we haven’t seen Jungle Boy in AEW, but solely “The Scapegoat” Jack Perry.

Upon returning to AEW Dynasty and aligning himself with The Young Bucks, the spotlight was on his heel run. Teaming with the Young Bucks is a perfect strategy to enhance his heel character.

The audience already has strong feelings towards the Young Bucks, and Perry’s ability to feed off them and the audience overall helps bring more emotion to the story.

Building up his match against Darby Allin at AEW All In 2024 was a perfect way for him to establish himself as a heel. It’s one thing to talk like a heel but another to act like one. Perry showed that he can do both in the intense build-up to All In 2024.

Performances

From his return in April to now, Perry has shown he can take nasty shots and deliver them. He outperformed himself at AEW Blood and Guts 2024 in a Blood and Guts match. Perry joined Team All Elite against Team AEW in what can be considered one of their company’s most violent AEW matches.

Even though Perry was part of the losing team, it doesn’t change his performance. They lost the match after Darby Allin forced Matt Jackson to quit by threatening to set Perry on fire.

Perry didn’t get set on fire that night, although he already did at Double or Nothing 2024. His participation in these types of matches shows his dedication to the company. These are dangerous acts, and unlike everyone on the roster, he is willing to participate in the chaos for an unforgettable show.

Perry had a big win at All In 2024, giving Darby Allin his first loss in a casket match. This win established Perry’s TNT Champion role, as it was his first big title defense. The other time he defended the championship was on AEW Collision (07/06/2024) against his former tag team partner Marko Stunt.

Perry’s next significant match isn’t defending his TNT Championship but fighting for the AEW World Championship at AEW All Out 2024.

Facing The American Dragon

At AEW All Out 2024, Jack Perry will have one of the biggest matches in his career, and more eyes than ever will be on him. He will fight for the AEW World Championship against wrestling legend Bryan Danielson.

After his outstanding performances lately and holding the TNT Championship, all eyes will be on The Scapegoat. This is Perry’s time to prove himself indeed and show that he has the potential to be a future World Champion.

This is an exciting match for the fans, as there are already high expectations. They are both phenomenal performers, and seeing how their wrestling styles mesh together in the ring will be interesting. We also have just seen a little interaction between the two on television, so we don’t know what to expect.

Both wrestlers are extensively discussed going into this match. Danielson’s wrestling career is nearing its end, and Jack Perry’s singles run is just getting started, so the pressure is on Perry to perform great.

Perry has been a singles competitor for a few years but is finally getting recognition with his heel turn.

Whether Perry wins or loses this match, it will boost his TNT Championship run and character. He will continue to be a top star. In this heel run, Perry has successfully made the audience despise him. Pinning him against Danielson, one of the company’s most prominent faces, will only help Perry’s heel run.

Will The Scapegoat be able to defeat The American Dragon this weekend at AEW All Out?
