WAY Too Early WWE WrestleMania 41 Predictions

The second biggest PLE on the WWE schedule is over. SummerSlam has come and gone, producing a ton of new champions and a few great surprises along the way. It was a wonderful night of wrestling, but one that has passed. Now that SummerSlam is in everyone’s minds, the time has come to think about WrestleMania 41.

Yes, ‘Mania’ is nine months away, but that doesn’t mean we can’t think about what could be. According to reports, Triple H has his plans for WrestleMania, so let’s think about what “The Game” might have in store for WrestleMania 41.

The Rock vs. Roman Reigns

This is the big-money program that is going to headline WrestleMania. For a few years, The Rock and Roman Reigns have been linked, but WWE has been unable to pull the trigger. For a few weeks, it looked as if we might get this matchup at WrestleMania XL, but WWE and the fans wanted Cody Rhodes to finish his story.

During their tag match, at WrestleMania, WWE sowed the idea of dissent between the two. Now that Roman has turned face the ‘Final Boss’ should appear to take over The Bloodline. It is a story that has been in the works for a while now and would be a perfect sell for WrestleMania in Las Vegas.

Gunther vs. John Cena

Gunther should be at the beginning of a very lengthy championship reign. Anytime he has held gold before it lasted a long time and there is no doubt that WWE will push him like this again. Therefore, whoever he faces at WrestleMania will take the loss, and who better to do that than ‘The Doctor of Thuganomics?’

John Cena’s retirement tour will take him toward the World Championship at some point. He is one away from Ric Flair’s record and he will want to achieve that before he leaves. What better way to have him go for it than at WrestleMania?

It would be a great build towards they night one main event and Gunther’s victory would establish him as an all-time great.

Cody Rhodes vs. Randy Orton

This writer is going to keep mentioning this pairing until he is right, and he will be right… at some point.

Randy Orton and Rhodes have been linked with one another since Orton’s return. They have been on the same side, but it’s only a matter of time before Orton turns on Rhodes. It’s in his DNA to turn on his partners and frankly, it would be great to see a heel Orton once again.

Randy was Rhode’s mentor. He took him under his wing, and they did well together in the group Legacy. Seeing them go full circle and take each other on at WrestleMania would be the perfect bookend to their relationship.

CM Punk vs. Seth Rollins

This is going to be the match a year in the making. Seth Rollins and CM Punk were set to do battle at WrestleMania Xl before an unfortunate injury sidelines Punk. Drew McIntyre was slotted into a feud with Punk in the meantime, but it looks like WWE is ready to light a fire under Punk and Rollins again.

Rollins was attacked by Bronson Reed and put on the shelf again, so it looks like WWE is wanting to save this program for WrestleMania. It would be the absolute right call as these men have done a great job keeping fans invested and they deserve the biggest stage to finally settle their differences.

Rhea Ripley vs. Liv Morgan

If WWE can remain patient this will be a massive match. This summer had already been filled with fantastic segments featuring Dominik Mysterio, Rhea Ripley, and Liv Morgan. The lead-up to SummerSlam was great and the payoff of Mysterio turning heel was the icing on the cake.

There is a lot of investment in this angle and if played off right it could be white hot by WrestleMania.

Holding off until WrestleMania might prove difficult, but it would be the right call. Ripley trying to get her hands on Morgan and Mysterio only to be consistently thwarted would add to the payoff at WrestleMania.

WWE could even have Rhea win the Royal Rumble thus guaranteeing a championship match at WrestleMania.

The Usos vs. Guerillas of Destiny

There is no doubt that these two teams will eventually face each other. When G.O.D. won the WWE Tag Team Championships it was almost guaranteed that there would be a showdown between the two teams. It shouldn’t be that hard to put The Usos back together, more than likely to aid Roman Reigns and when they do this needs to happen.

This will be one of the biggest tag team matches of all time. The Guerillas of Destiny will no doubt run roughshod through the tag division. That will set up the Uso’s to rejoin and take on their family members. It will be a great match and a marquee contest for WrestleMania.

Tiffany Stratton vs. Charlotte

The partnership of Nia Jax and Tiffany Stratton is good for now, but it will only be a matter of time before Tiffy cashes in on her compatriot. WWE would be wise to let this turn fester for a while before going through with it, but rest assured this turn will happen.

Once Tiffy gets her hands on gold there are plenty of women who could challenge her, but for WrestleMania, Charlotte Flair would be the best choice, hands down. Charlotte has been off for a while but should be ready to go come WrestleMania. It would be a battle of the young lioness trying to knock off the woman at the top.
