This week’s WWE SmackDown will be a sight to behold as it deals with the fallout from SummerSlam. We saw the crowning of new champions in the form of LA Knight and Nia Jax. Plus, the return of the “Original Tribal Chief” in spectacular fashion.
On this edition of WWE Friday Night SmackDown, we will see the return of the ‘Phenomenal One.’ Plus, Roman Reigns speaks for the first time in almost five months. Let’s not put this off any further for the WWE Universe. Here’s a preview of the latest installment of WWE SmackDown. Let’s run it down.
Announced for WWE SmackDown:
- Roman Reigns Will Be Appearing Live on WWE SmackDown
- AJ Styles Will Be Appearing Live on WWE SmackDown
A Day of Reemergence
This Friday night, we have two major returns to WWE SmackDown. First is AJ Styles. The last time we Styles was when he ‘quit” in his I Quit Match against Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship at Clash at the Castle: Scotland.
AJ fought valiantly to secure another World Title reign. Unfortunately, Rhodes was too much for him to handle on that night.
Finally, AJ Styles will return after a nearly two-month layoff to make his presence felt on the Blue brand. What will the ‘Phenomenal’ AJ Styles have to say to the WWE Universe?
Speaking of returns, the biggest star in professional wrestling is back with a vengeance. The last time we saw Roman Reigns was at WrestleMania XL, where he had one of the biggest main events in the history of the ‘Showcase of Immortals’ against the very man who made AJ Styles quit, Cody Rhodes.
Since he took his sabbatical, the WWE has been in a completely different state, with his now former cohort Solo Sikoa assuming control of The Bloodline without his consent. As expected, Reigns was not at all happy about this unintentional transfer of power and battered Sikoa to end his Undisputed WWE Championship dreams at SummerSlam.
With his thoughts out in the open, what is the next step for Roman Reigns? Will he want to wrestle away The Bloodline from Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Jacob Fatu? Or does he have something else in store for the faction?
It’s gonna be an exciting WWE SmackDown this Friday night fight night, and you can catch it all unfold only on Fox!
