Preview: WWE Raw (8/5/24) - Wyatt Sicks Debut & SummerSlam Fallout

All the fallout from a newsworthy and groundbreaking SummerSlam will be seen on WWE Raw this week. Enjoy our full WWE Raw preview.

We have plenty of new champions following SummerSlam who will, without a doubt, take a bit of TV time to crow about their historic victories. The CFG Bank Arena in Baltimore, MD will also see the anticipated in-ring debut of The Wyatt Sicks.

WWE Raw Match Card (8/5/25)

  • The Wyatt Sicks vs. Chad Gable & The Creed Brothers
  • Dakota Kai vs. Sonya Deville
  • Sheamus vs. Ludwig Kaiser
  • The New Day vs. The Authors of Pain
  • The Awesome Truth vs. A-Town Down Under
  • CM Punk & Drew McIntyre Appear

Wyatt Sicks Debut

WWE Raw is on Syfy again this week so the Olympics can air on its usual channel USA Network. Last week, Raw beat the Olympics in the ratings during the moment the Wyatt Sicks spooked former Olympian Chad Gable.

They then battered Gable’s number one guys, The Creed Brothers. This week, Erick Rowan, Joe Gacy, and Dexter Lumis of the Wyatt Sicks make their in-ring debut against Gable and The Creed Brothers.

Kai To Cut Head Off New Snake On WWE Raw

Damage CTRL returned to Raw last week, leather-clad and with new cool cheek paint. They easily cleared the ring of Sonya Deville, Shayna Baszler, and Zoey Stark.

Dakota Kai laid the challenge down to Deville for this week. Kai claims she’ll cut the head off the new snake that’s been slivering through the women’s division.

What Else

Drew McIntyre and CM Punk are both slated to appear. Punk – for once – will be the angrier of the two.

Whether that is with McIntyre or Seth Rollins we’ll have to wait and see.

Ludwig Kaiser makes his first WWE Raw appearance in a while against Sheamus as the WWE bookers remember he’s the only German talent they have ahead of Bash in Berlin later this month.

Plus, there’s a couple of big tag matches. The Awesome Truth and A-Town Down Under look to gain momentum off the other as both teams recently lost tag team gold.

Then there’s the latest in the ongoing The New Day and Karrion Kross feud when they battle The Authors of Pain.
