It’s the moment we’ve all been waiting for: Roman Reigns has finally returned to WWE at WWE SummerSlam 2024. His absence from the WWE ring, following his ‘Match of the Year’ candidate loss at WrestleMania XL against Cody Rhodes, is now a thing of the past. But let’s remember that WWE has seen some major changes since Reigns’ departure.
His The Bloodline muscle Solo Sikoa has graduated, or self-appointed himself, depending on who you ask, as the NEW ‘Tribal Chief’ of the group and promoted. The faction also saw new additions to the group in the form of the Guerillas of Destiny, Tama Tonga, and Tonga Loa, as well as the massively dangerous ‘Samoan Werewolf’ Jacob Fatu.
For some, this is a much more dangerous and callous version of The Bloodline. However, did Roman Reigns feel the same about these developments while he was away pondering his future in the WWE?

At SummerSlam, towards the end of the match, the ‘Head of the Table’ finally made his much-awaited re-entry into the company. Roman looked better than ever before. He looked focused, dangerous, and looking to reclaim his throne.
Roman Reigns went eye-to-eye with his “heir apparent.” Everyone thought he would be so glad to see someone take the mantle. Unfortunately, Solo Sikoa did not get the reaction he wanted. Reigns proceeded to hit a Superman Punch and one of the most devastating Spears of his career to Solo Sikoa.
Another big development is Roman Reigns giving his bitter arch-rival Cody Rhodes the nod, inevitably ending this years-long feud between the two. Cody Rhodes hit the Cross Rhodes for the win.
The 2024 edition of SummerSlam was one heck of a time, especially with Roman Reigns’ return! The WWE landscape has been shaken to its core.
What did you think of WWE SummerSlam and the return of Roman Reigns?
