WWE SmackDown will be live at the DCU Center in beautiful Worcester, Massachusetts. And, on this latest iteration of everyone’s favorite Friday night sports entertainment show, we will deal with the fallout from one of the most memorable Money in the Banks PLEs in WWE history. With all that said, let’s not keep anyone waiting any longer.
Here’s a full preview of this week’s edition of WWE Friday Night SmackDown. Let’s run it down.
Full WWE SmackDown Match Card:
- “Michin” Mia Yim vs. Nia Jax
- Baron Corbin & Apollo Crews vs. Angel & Berto
- Women’s Money in the Bank Winner Tiffany Stratton Will Appear Live on WWE SmackDown
- “The Head Of The Table” Solo Sikoa will Continue his Rise to Power after pinning Undisputed WWE Champion “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes at Money in the Bank
God Save the Queen?
The heated rivalry between Nia Jax and Michin is finally coming to a head this Friday on WWE SmackDown. After months of animosity and costing each other opportunities, these two will finally get to face off in the middle of the ring. Heated words and heinous attacks have been exchanged back and forth, and for Nick Aldis, enough is enough.
Nowhere to run, nowhere to hide; who will come out on top? Will Michin finally get her revenge, or will the “Queen of the Ring” make a statement about why she’s on top of the women’s division?
Turning Tables
Money in the Bank was a PLE for the ages. We saw the likes of Drew McIntyre and Tiffany Stratton, with the latter appearing live on the Blue brand this week, win their respective Money in the Bank Ladder Matches. While it didn’t work out for Drew, Stratton still has her contract in the bag, guaranteeing her a shot at any World Championship she chooses over the next year.
However, there are other major stories to come out of last Saturday’s big event. Solo Sikoa, the self-proclaimed “New Head of the Table,” pinned the Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes right in the middle of the ring to nab The Bloodline a win over Rhodes, Randy Orton, and Kevin Owens.
When everyone thought The Bloodline was dead, Sikoa seemingly picked the faction up from the brink of collapse and made the group more vicious than ever. This Friday night, he looks to continue rebuilding the unit. What will Solo Sikoa and the rest of his cohorts have in store for the WWE Universe after that monumental win and the exiling of the “Wise Man” Paul Heyman?
Tune in this Friday night and find out! You can watch it all go down only on Fox!
