Trick Williams Defends NXT Championship In Fatal Four-Way

NXT Champion Trick Williams has quite a task awaiting him at Heatwave. Williams won the title at NXT Spring Breakin’, and he defends the gold in a fatal four-way.

His challengers will be Je’Von Evans, Ethan Page, and Shawn Spears. This is quite a daunting task but it is one that Williams is certainly up for.

Evans won the battle royal but Page and Spears managed to find a way into the title picture too. At Heatwave, it’s equal opportunity for all, and the only person who has everything to lose is Williams.

Perez And Vice Clash In NXT Women’s Championship Match

Roxanne Perez won the NXT Women’s Championship at the Stand & Deliver PLE, and she would have just celebrated 90 days as champion. At Heatwave, Perez faces a fierce challenger in Lola Vice.
The two have not held back when it comes to showing each other up, and the Heatwave clash will be the ultimate showdown between them. Vice was the 2023 NXT Women’s Breakout Tournament winner but she is yet to hold any gold.
This could be the opportunity for Vice to finally claim her first championship, and this makes Vice a very motivated challenger. Perez has been a formidable champion in her second reign, and she is determined to hold onto the gold – no matter what it takes.

Wes Lee Gets His Last Chance Against Oba Femi

Oba Femi continues to have a stronghold on the NXT North American Championship, with his reign coming up on 180 days as the titleholder. The one constant challenger has been former champion Wes Lee but Femi has had just about enough of it.

Femi agreed to give Lee one last chance at the NXT North American Championship, and he means it. Should Lee fail to capture the title, he will no longer be able to challenge for the gold so long as Femi holds it.

This is as high stakes as it gets and, for Lee, this is the last shot at the title. If he does not succeed, he will be forced to move on from the championship he always loved. Femi will be looking to ensure he is the one to dash Lee’s dreams.
